  • The official language of this Islamic country is Arabic, and visitors should learn a few generic words and phrases before visiting the city. There are many tourist attractions and metropolitan cities where English is understood, but if you are visiting the remote cities, Arabic is a must. While visiting the conservative Muslim country, it is important to observe the local customs and respect their traditions. Women should dress modestly and wear Abaya while visiting religious places. Due to recent terror attacks, it is advisable not to visit the restricted borders and adjoining villages.

What to see in Saudi Arabia?

RIJAL ALMA HERITAGE VILLAGE

The main tourist attraction of this more than 900 years old village is the Rijal Almaa Museum as part of the Rijal Almaa Heritage Village which is a renovated building complex with stunning architecture.

This building complex features beautiful colorful buildings made of stone, clay, and wood. Walking around here feels like being part of a fairy tale.

Niagara falls

AL-BALAD aka OLD JEDDAH

Al-Balad, also known as Old Jeddah, is one of my favorite places in Saudi Arabia. As the name says, it’s the old part of Jeddah. Al-Balad is one of the most famous places in Saudi Arabia and one of the most beautiful places in Jeddah

AL TAYEBAT INTERNATIONAL CITY MUSEUM IN JEDDAH

The Al Tayebat International City was more beautiful and interesting than expected. It’s also really big. You can plan there for at least 4 hours. It’s a unique private museum. The building of museum was constructed in the traditional Hijazi style which is the architectural style of old Jeddah

White house

AL-RAHMAH MOSQUE, THE FLOATING MOSQUE OF JEDDAH

The Al-Rahmah Mosque is open 24/7 but as a tourist, I recommend you visit it between the 5 daily prayers. If you want to know the best time to visit the mosque, it’s during sunset and at night when the mosque is lit.

Yellow Stone national park

MASJID AL-HARAM aka THE GREAT MOSQUE OF MECCA

Masjid Al Haram, also known as the Great Mosque of Mecca is the most important mosque in the Islamic World situated in the city of Mecca. This is the mosque that surrounds the Kaaba which is the most sacred site in Islam. This is where Muslims come to perform the annual pilgrimage called Hajj.
